Rate:   £65.00-£70.00 per day 

Qualification level: Level 3 Teaching assistant (or equivalent qualification required)

About the Role:

A small secondary school in East Birmingham is currently seeking an SEN teaching assistant to work within their ASD resource base. Working one to one and in small groups you will be working with ASD pupils to support them mainly in literacy and numeracy. The school is increasing in pupil numbers in September as a new resource base is currently being built and full time positions will be advertised in September. Candidates who have experience working in Primary settings are invited to apply as pupils are working to primary level and a knowledge of the Primary curriculum would be beneficial. Experience with team teach or knowledge of restraint handling techniques is also advantageous but not essential.
