Student Support Assistant
Student support assistants required: SEN Central are currently recruiting student support assistants for secondary age pupils to work with a national training provider. The work will take place from April until the end of June across various Birmingham schools. This is a great opportunity if you are looking for a role which combines teaching and training in a fun, dynamic and highly energised environment.
Our requirements for the role;
We are looking for student support assistants that;
* Have a genuine passion for working with young people and enjoy working within a team.
* Have supported secondary age pupils within either a secondary/FE/ or SEN setting
* Have supported pupils in small groups or a whole class environment.
* Have the ability to work with initiative, resourcefulness and passion in order to support pupils and support the trainers delivering bespoke courses to a high standard.
* Able to consistently engage pupils through praise, direction and individual support.
* Are highly motivated, enthusiastic and organised.
* Are available between April and the end of June (or for at least 4 weeks during this period)
* You should be educated to ideally level 3 teaching assistant status (or equivalent status) or be able to show that you have experience (minimum of six months) supporting secondary age pupils within a youth/school setting.
About the Client
Our client is a recognised national training provider which delivers short bespoke courses to pupils in schools in key GCSE subject areas. Full training and support will be given by the training company to successful candidates.
